I recently finished up a 10-year stint in customer service and retail, and am currently employed as a programmer in higher education. Of course, two weeks into my employment... the Rona.

I have a degree in mathematics and I've been programming since 2007 (though it was only practical experience starting around 2009). As of now, I enjoy optimization, algorithm design, arithmetic, numbers, and analysis.

In terms of languages, I started off with English, French, then TI-BASIC, and Z80 Assembly, followed up by C, C++, Python, HTML, Javascript, C#, Norwegian, Spanish, German, Irish, Korean, Mandarin Chinese (Duolingo phase), Rust, SQR, PL/SQL, PostScript, and PL/pgSQL, as well as a smattering of esoteric languages.

In order of comfort and command of the language: Z80 Assembly, English, TI-BASIC, Python, Javascript, PL/SQL, HTML, C, PostScript, SQR, PL/pgSQL, French, Rust, C++, C#, Spanish, Norwegian, German, Mandarin Chinese. Korean, and Irish. (Note: I have very, very little experience in anything Spanish and beyond.)

I have a wonderful partner and we've been married for over 10 years now 😊
